Having visited Korea I can confidently say this is the closest I've had to authentic Korean food in ages. Why? Well firstly, it has the small local eatery vibe that many places in Korea have and secondly they serve all the traditional Korean favourites including the imported drinks! Just be warned this is a small place so uness you book you'll be unliklely to get a seat. Unfortunately due to the size and the fact they have to cater for takeaways means that the service is quick, almost too quick. However, this didn't ruin the experience. We ordered the Kimchi Pancake, Taekbokki (Rice Cake / Fish Cake Spicy Stew) with cheese as sides and for mains I ordered the spicy tofu and seafood stew and my mate the tofu bibimbap. All the food was demolished. The favours took me right back to the bustling streets of Seoul. The one small downside was that the Taekbokki and Stew could have been spicier in my opinion but I suspect they hold back to avoid dissappointing people with lower spice tolerances. Pairing this with the Maekgolli (fermented rice beverage) was the cherry on top! If you want the best Korean food experience, then go here! You won't be dissapointed. Oh, and if you need the loo there aren't any toilets!

We came here because of its high Google Maps rating and were not disappointed. The 4 dishes were all extremely good. Taste of meat and tofu were just as good as we could have expected. Clear recommendation.

You know the place serves authentic Korean food once you see the 아저씨 at the back. BAPJO is a small eatery (so don't forget to book/reserve!) with only 6 tables but with really tasty dishes. It's my first time but I had company who's been there before and they promised me good food and I wasn't disappointed. I chose the 냉면 (cold noodles) as it was a hot day and it was so refreshing.

We got the chicken bibimbap and soy garlic chicken wings -- both were delicious! We got lucky and didn't have to wait to be seated, but the food was good enough that it would be worth a wait.

I have been to BAPJO a handful of times over the last year and it has been consistently great! All the dishes I've had are delicious (My favourites are the LA Galbi and their cheese powder fried chicken), with good sized portions. The place is small with only a handful of tables, so it might be worth reserving before going, especially as a group; but the food usually comes out fast so most of the time, you won't have to wait too long to get a spot. The restaurant is owned and ran by a Korean family and it really shows in the food they serve!

BAPJO – A True Taste of Korea BAPJO is the definition of an authentic, efficient, and delightful Korean food experience. From the moment we stepped in, it felt like we had been transported to the streets of Korea, with hot, crispy, and fresh food served up in no time. The service was incredibly quick, and while seating is limited, the fast turnaround means you won’t be waiting too long. You can choose to dine in or take away, and the server was friendly and helpful. Prices were reasonable, and I’d suggest one main dish per person, maybe with a few sides to share. They also offer a selection of soju, Korean beer, soft drinks, and juices to go with your meal. We tried the spicy pork and squid and the beef noodles, the both hit the spot and the meats were cooked and seasoned perfectly. This spot is perfect for winter, when you’re craving that warm, hearty, home-cooked feel. I’d say it’s better than a lot of Korean chains I’ve tried and would absolutely recommend it. A couple of minor drawbacks—2 extra for seasoning on fried chicken feels a bit much, and the ventilation isn’t great, so the place can heat up and leave a food smell on your hair or clothes. That said, it adds to the coziness, and I wasn’t too bothered by it. Overall, an amazing experience—definitely a must-visit if you’re in the area!

Nice food and good portions. I recommend the Spicy Hot Pork Bento. It was simply delicious. We also ordered the Slow-Cooked Pork Stew Rice but from my perspective, it was a bit tasteless. Service is good.
